Event description

Happening every second Sunday of the month, These sessions allow you to step outside and get creative alongside others. We’ll wander through parks and open spaces, pausing along the way to draw, noticing small details and engaging with our surroundings. Each session will have a meeting point shared a few days in advance.

We’ll usually finish at a local café or pub, where you’re welcome to stay for a drink and a chat if you’d like. This is about creating with community, sharing time, and seeing familiar places a bit differently. Open to all. Just bring something to draw with.

We kick things off on Sunday 10th May with ‘First Marks’ a relaxed session of loose observational sketching inspired by spring and new life at Hackney City Farm. We’ll be drawing from life, capturing the new lambs and Billie goats along the way.

Timings 11:00 am – 12:30 pm
Starting location: TBC ( Near Hackney City Farm)

Who can join

The event is designed for adults and young people aged 16+. Children can come but must be accompanied by an adult - and just bear in mind there will be a lot of walking!
