Join us for an hour sketching in this ancient building, whose architectural features date from 11C, 18C, 21C, and lots more. There are also 1000s of paintings and artefacts inside, all delicious subjects. We will barely scratch the surface of its opportunities.

Event description

Meet at the Castle Gate on Lenton Road at 14:30. If you have an annual ticket for the castle (£13), the world is your oyster. If you don’t, you can still enjoy the café and the shop, with plenty of things still to draw, and unusual views over the valley. Bring your own drawing materials!

Who can join

Anyone with paper, pencil and a desire to draw. If you’re under 18, please bring a parent or guardian with you.
