Event description
A guided two-hour creative rest evening inspired by the Autumn Equinox — breathwork, intuitive mark-making, sound bath and journaling.
The Quiet Place — 30 September
Highfield Park, St Albans | 7–9pm
A guided two-hour creative rest evening inspired by the Autumn Equinox — the moment when light and dark sit in perfect balance and nature begins to turn inward.
As the season shifts, so can you. This is an invitation to slow down before the year speeds towards winter — to pause, soften and reconnect with yourself.
Grounding meditation, breathwork drawing, intuitive mark-making, crystal bowl sound bath and journaling.
Led by visual artist Natalia Millman and wellbeing coach Antonia Bolino.
Research shows that regular engagement in the arts can nearly halve the risk of developing depression, and that as little as 45 minutes of creative activity lowers cortisol levels regardless of skill or experience.
This evening offers a reset for your nervous system, space to soften perfectionism and pressure, a return to self-compassion, a chance to create without expectation, and a reminder that rest is productive.
This is not an art class. No experience needed. No pressure to perform. Just a gentle, structured space where the body settles through breath and movement, and the mind quiets through creative expression.
Everything is provided — only high-quality art materials and tools. You'll also take home a small seasonal keepsake to carry the stillness with you.
Spaces are limited. Bring a friend!
