Event description
This workshop invites participants to experience nature through slow observation, drawing and contemplative practice. Inspired by the principles of Sacred Geometry and the harmonious patterns found in nature, participants will explore the forms, rhythms and structures of plants while developing their own creative responses through drawing.
The workshop combines mindfulness, creative imagination, botanical observation and drawing, encouraging participants to engage with the gardens as a place of inspiration, reflection and creativity.
The session is split into 2 parts: Morning session (10:00-1:00) and afternoon session (2:00-4:00

The workshop is developed and led by Maria Lusitano, a visual artist from Lisbon. Maria has lived in London since 2011. In 2016, after various years of focused spiritual work, she had a profound experience of spiritual awakening that triggered a deep interest in themes of soul-based new economics, spiritual healing, expansion of consciousness, ancient wisdom, mysticism and how all this can be of practical use to the emerging soulful world of the future. She holds a degree in Medicine (University of Coimbra) and also a BA in Fine Art (Ar.co, Lisbon, Portugal) and an MFA in Fine Art (2009, Malmö Art Academy, Sweden). In 2015 she concluded her arts-based PhD at the University of Westminster, London.
