Join award-winning designer Marion Deuchars for a playful, interactive drawing workshop inspired by her new book Take a Line for a Walk.

13:30-15:30 Interactive drawing workshop in the Community Room
Inspired by Paul Klee’s quote, “A drawing is simply a line going for a walk”, this inclusive hands-on workshop invites families to discover just how fun picking up a pencil can be.
Having spent decades at the drawing board, Marion knows exactly how to make art fun and easy - whether it’s drawing a line with the hiccups, playing a visual game of cat and mouse or walking your line around a maze of busy streets!
Young artists will discover how to take the pressure out of creativity by turning every drawing into a game and contribute to a large scale, intergenerational set of sketches.
