How do we capture the quiet marks of the natural world? In celebration of The Big Draw’s 2026 theme, "Make a Mark," join me for a sensory journey through the Cataraqui Conservation Area. This workshop invites you to slow down, practice quiet observation, and notice the subtle traces and marks that nature leaves behind—from the texture of tree bark to the delicate lines of a fern.

As we move through the landscape with mindful stillness, we will engage in responsive en plein air sketching. This is an invitation to deepen your connection to our local living landscape through the simple, rhythmic act of making a mark—translating the natural world into the visual language of drawing.
