Portrate Drawing and Making Your Mark

Portrait Drawing builds core observational drawing skills — proportion, tone and mark-making — working step-by-step in pencil and coloured pencil to build a confident, expressive portrait.

Make Your Mark is our Black History Month portrait competition. Children create a portrait inspired by Black History Month, working in coloured pencil and watercolour. Selected portraits are displayed in the school gallery.

Both sessions are for school children only, delivered as part of the regular Art Studio timetable at Halley House School.

This event is part of the Halley Houses Schools Black History Month Celibrations ONLY for children at the school. We are keen to showcase the children amazing drawings here.
