Wondering what to do with the kids in the half term holidays?
Local artist and Ely markets community partner Laura Pearson-Clark returns to Ely Markets for a Big Draw 2026 free arts and crafts session on Thursday 28 May with the NEW theme: SECRET GARDENS
- Make your mark and create a secret garden or favourite park diorama
- Model a UK wildlife character to live in your diorama - Hedgehogs, sparrows, earthworms and more all encouraged!
- Why not create a garden inspired poem, script, title to the back of your diorama
- finish off by decorating with ink stamps or washi tape
- Observational sketching corner too of garden themed still life.
10am - 2pm
Free, drop-in, no need to book
Suitable from ages 5 and over
All children must be accompanied by an adult. Grown-ups encouraged to get creative too!
