Event description
This is a heritage arts and crafts community project. Learn to make felted flowers and help us create a beautiful textile wall hanging.
We are inviting everyone, young and old, to join us for a day of felting and textile creative fun making flowers and leaves to embellish our giant felted flower meadow mural - it's completely free, suitable for all ages, no prior experience needed as all materials and guidance will be provided along with some mess and lots of fun!
Kate Eldridge will be the lead artist supported by Alison Nicholson who will lead on the sewing textiles element.
The event is sponsored by North Devon Arts, Flourishing Culture and Barnstaple Town Council.
Who can join
Everybody. Please note, children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
