Estuary Artist Residency: Open Studio invites visitors to encounter the works and research developed by artists during the final stage of the residency.
Taking the harbour and the estuary as central concepts, the residency explores cultural migration, shifting identities and artistic exchange between London and China’s coastal cities. Through painting, sculpture and digital media, participating artists respond to the harbour as a site where historical routes, logistical networks and cultural memories meet.
Join us on 28 July 2026, from 11:00 to 17:00, to visit the artists’ studios, see works in progress and completed pieces, and learn more about the ideas and processes shaped throughout the residency.
