Drawing Weekender: Drawn to Water

Join artists Salt Road to explore how to paint water as a flow state. Participate in making large scale and individual water paintings inspired by plants found in the lake at Compton Verney.

Slow down and get into your flow by taking part in creating a giant watery painting using traditional Japanese Inks, paper and brushes. This peaceful activity is designed to get you into a meditative flow state and silent reflection is encouraged to fully engage with this activity.

River Reflections

In this mindful artist led session you will have the opportunity to share stories around water bodies, create river inspired Haiku poetry and what we can do to improve and protect our rivers for future generations.

30 mins session, max capacity 12 per workshop

Citizen Science Project: Lake Water Quality Assessment

All day, suitable for all ages The Bridge, Entrance Hall

Take part in our Citizen Science Project to discover the water quality of our lake. For this activity you will have the opportunity to collect your own lake water sample and test using scientific indicator kits.

This event is recommended for ages 7+. Please note that the room for the Flow Painting will be a quiet space. There will be bookable slots available on the day for the times mentioned above. This event is free for any day ticket or membership holder. Please purchase your day tickets from the link. Under 18s get free entrance.
