Drawing Weekender: Drawn to Roots

Join artists Creative in Nature to explore how all living things are connected. Take part in experimental drawing activity over four creative stations, each feeding into *The Hub for Positivity. Have a go at creating long winding drawings, play with collage and colour, experiment with giant silhouettes, inks and expressive mark making.

The Stations:

Living Things & the Body: explore through collage, shapes, and physical forms.

Feelings & Emotions: use colour, inks and expressive mark-making to channel communication.

Nature & Connection: experiment with drawing and frottage, exploring roots and the interconnection of natural forms.

Silhouettes & Shapes: capture participants’ outlines, which link directly into the feelings and emotions station.



*The Hub for Positivity, a space with the character of an office, complete with old desks and traditional printing tools. Here, the creative scrolls from each station connect and evolve. Stencil, stamp and pass them forward for others to build on.

Our event is open to all ages and suitable for everyone, whether you are on a solo trip or out as a family. This event is free to drop in for any day ticket holder. Please purchase your day tickets from the link. Under 18s get free entrance.
