Entries are open for the Trinity Buoy Wharf Drawing Prize 2026 until Tuesday 9th June, 5pm (GMT), offering artists from around the world the opportunity to submit up to three drawings for consideration by a distinguished Selection Panel:

  • Matthew Burrows MBE, Artist and Founder of Artist Support Pledge;
  • Sook-Kyung Lee, Director of The Whitworth and Professor of Curatorial Practices at The University of Manchester;
  • Anita Taylor, Artist, Professor of Drawing & Fine Art at the University of Dundee, and Founder of the Trinity Buoy Wharf Drawing Prize.

Selected from original artworks, the exhibition has built an international reputation for championing contemporary drawing in all its forms. Each year, the exhibition launches in London with the announcement of the award winners before touring venues across the UK. Bringing together emerging, mid-career, and established practitioners, it provides a significant platform for artists to exhibit their work alongside leading figures in the field.

Led by founding Director Professor Anita Taylor, Dean of Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design at the University of Dundee, and supported by the Trinity Buoy Wharf Trust, the project continues to foster new conversations around the role and value of drawing in contemporary creative practice. The Big Draw is proud to be one of the collaborative partners for the Prize.
