Event description
With 20 years' experience animating, writing, directing and voicing characters on shows like Peppa Pig, Charlie and Lola and Mr Bean, Dan's passion is making comics, and helping kids make their own.
The session starts with Dan drawing a live comic built from the group's craziest suggestions, then everyone dives into their own, using various fun techniques for bypassing the dreaded blank page.
Your child will leave with renewed inspiration, more confidence in their drawing, and a comic they made entirely themselves. All materials supplied. Ages 7-12.
Wilderness Wood is a 60-acre community mixed woodland and hub for creativity, enterprise, education and stewardship. Activities include woodworking, carving, bushcraft, pottery and drama, as well as gatherings and celebrations to mark the passing of the seasons.
