Walk The Line
“Drawing is taking a line for a walk” (Paul Klee)
With the help of everyone we will be creating a mile long, continuous living line.
Inspired by Paul Klee, the education department will be moving round the prison and, with the help of everyone we can, attempting to create a
continuous line drawing that is 1 mile long.
Thu 02 Nov
9:00 till 16:00
We want as many people as possible to be involved in the
drawing and we will try and visit as many places as we can. We will be sticking
paper to the wall and floor and asking contributors to create their own small section of
the continuous 'living line' in pen, chalk, pencil or paint.
We will be
starting at the reception centre and aim to visit all workplaces and education areas as
well as the wings, photographing the progress of the line as it grows on its life through different areas of the jail.
It is not possible to open this event to the public
