The Big Draw Festival is for anyone who loves to draw, as well as those who think they can't, and it’s coming to Sheffield!
Thousands of events will take place around the world from 1-31 October as part of this annual celebration of the universal language of drawing. The Big Draw Festival in Sheffield is a special highlight event organised in partnership with The Big Draw team itself.
Expect an exciting day of enjoyable and experimental drawing activities that bring your humble pencil lines to life!There's something for everyone on the day: Get theatrical with your creations with The Drawing Circus and A Line Art's *Ready Steady Colour! Watch your drawings come to life on a record player with Jim Le Fevre brilliant Phonotrope™, Make a 'whose legs?' folding book, be inspired by bearded ladies or pirate's treasure map with author/illustrator Sally Kindberg, bring your lines off the page and get sculptural with Henk Littlewood to build a Da Vinci style bridge, try your hand at comic illustration and bring your heroes to life with Bambos Georgiou and the Sheffield Comic Network and SO MUCH MORE!

Draw and Explore the Millennium Gallery collections: Take inspiration from John Ruskin himself, and draw in the Ruskin Gallery, surrounded by paintings and drawings of architectural and natural beauty, shiny shells and magnificent minerals.Films and artworks made during Big Draws in Walkley, Manor and Meersbrook this summer will all be on show so you might spot your own artwork and be inspired to make more!
