The events will be on the themes of: webs and spirals in nature; maps, trails, tracks and prints; nature's lines and contours Three half-term sessions will be run for families with a mixture of indoor and outdoor activities. Participants will be able to explore a small, intimate yet wild nature reserve. They will be invited to stop, stare, be curious, touch, feel and enjoy the shapes, patterns and living lines of nature, capturing their wonder and experiences in a range of drawing and craft activities, some structured, others more free-flowing. Art and science will merge. An exhibition of what they create will be held at the Hornbeam Learning Lodge.
