Living Lines at the Royal Mews
The Royal Mews
Be inspired by the amazing objects, stories and atmosphere of the Royal Mews and capture it all with the Big Draw's Living Lines.
Join us in the Royal Mews to create your own animated short film. Design and create your own unique horse and back drop, and then work with our brilliant workshop leaders to turn your drawings into an incredible animated film. We will also email your film to you so you can keep it forever! Your film can be as long or short, as detailed or simple as you want - you are the animator and the director! It's also really simple and fun to do, so is great fun for all the family.

Fri 27 Oct
11:00 - 15:00
There will also be a variety of art activities to take part in if animation isn't really your thing - from designing your own state carriage to making and decorating a hobby horse to take home with you. Any budding photographers are very welcome to share their favourite image on our social media pages as well.
As a part of your visit to the Royal Mews you will also be able to sit in our landau and imagine what it would feel like to be in a carriage in a royal procession, tack up our beautifully carved wooden pony just like The Queen's royal horses would be for the parades and try on the coachmen's livery.
We look forward to welcoming you to the Royal Mews.
