Explore your Living Lines and create an animated family tree and shield inspired by North Yorkshire's historic pedigrees! The Big Draw 2017: Living Lines Join us for a drawing and animation workshop taking inspiration from pedigrees and heraldry held in the Record Office. Create your family tree, design a shield and bring them to life through drawn animation.   Our archivist will guide you in how to represent your family tree. Examples of pedigrees and heraldic imagery covering centuries will be on show to inspire you.   Bring your hand drawn living lines to life by animating them into a GIF and create a flick book animation of your personal shield design.   Please bring names of three generations to create your family tree. This is a free event and booking is essential. Please call 01609 777585 or email archives@northyorks.gov.uk to book your place. Materials and light refreshments included. All ages and abilities welcome!
