Part of Drawing Outside of the Box The Essential School of Painting and Drawing
Fri 20 Oct 10-5 pm
Through the exploration of London this project will gather visual research which will be used to create a collaborative drawing which will explore landscape in subject, location and surface. INTERPRETIVE LANDSCAPE
This day long event will explore landscape through the urban spaces of London. The students at The Essential School of Painting and Drawing, currently on the year long drawing course 'Drawing Outside of the Box' will use the first half of the day to collect visual research (drawings and photographs) while walking around East London. We will culminate at Tate Modern where we will set up along the river to make a collaborative [very long] drawing of the opposite side of the bank. In the event of rain, the drawing itself will take place back at the main ESOP studio.
