Join artist Katie Spragg in creating stop-frame animations inspired by nature and using clay. Using the garden as a starting point, Katie will show you how to 'draw in three-dimensions' using clay before helping you to bring your creation to life using stop-frame animation and sound-effects.

Based in the beautiful new Clore Learning Space at the Garden Museum, this drop-in workshop will take inspiration from the plants in our garden.

We will upload resulting films and animations onto our website during the course of half term week.

Katie Spragg is an award winning ceramics artist.  She graduated from the Royal College of Art in 2016 with a MA in Ceramics & Glass and has her work 'Hedgerow' in the V&A Museum and a piece called 'Daydream' is on display in the Garden Museum.

Her latest body of work combines ceramic objects, installation and moving image to create momentary experiences that allude to the amazement and wonder of being outside in nature.
